Started in August of 2000, Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue Inc. was started by a small group of dedicated dachsund lovers who grew the organization to be nationwide. Today, CCDR is comprised of a group of people who still have that passion and work endlessly to help rehome dachshunds and dachshund mixes to loving homes. The work is endless and our members work hard to fundraise and educate the public in the importance of rescue and altering their pets. CCDR vetting costs are extremely high and the adoption fees don't come close to covering them, but we survive and thrive due to those who generously donate to us and as a result of our members who work so hard all year long to fundraise and attend events.
