Magic, a 10
year old black and tan, long-haired mini, was owned by a breeder who was
retiring and moving out of state and was unable to keep all of her dogs.
Magic is now sharing a home with his new friend, Pablo - also an older
black and tan, smooth-haired tweenie who himself was rescued two years
earlier. As Magic was mistreated early on in life (at a puppy mill,
before being adopted by his previous owner), he was very timid, especially
around men.
Slowly, with
a lot of time and devotion by his new owners, and the immediate accpetance
from Pablo, Magic came to realize that he is surrounded by love in his
forever home and has opened up and become a real part of the family...he
follows Pablo around and shares his favorite chair; he also goes
on daily walks around the nearby pond, something he truly enjoys!
"He has been a true joy. His playfulness and enthusiasm for life
really fools people at the pond - everyone thinks he is a puppy!
