Click here to go to the Coast to Coast Virtual Dog Show!

The images are not going to be judged like a traditional dog show, but judged on how well you present your dog in the picture. Every single dog has the same chance to win. But, to win you have to send us a picture that is clear, set up well, has good lighting, shows clarity, shows your dog's personality, is not cluttered with items in the forefront or background and shows off your dog the best way you can.

Take a few moments to set up your dog for a good picture. Brush them if they need to be so they look good. Take a picture where there is a nice background, or in a portrait setting (where there is no background.) Take many pictures and select the one that highlights your dog best. Your dog will be competing against many dogs, so, make sure your dog stands out.

There are nine (9) classes to enter but to win Best in Show there will be six (6) classes that will compete for the Best in Show winner. All class winners will win a prize. The class winners compete against one another where a Best in Show winner will be chosen. To enter, get suggestions on how to send in a good picture  and see the prizes go to the Virtual Dog Show Website.

The 9 classes are: Puppies up to one year old, Dogs one year and up to four years old, dogs four years old and up to eight years old, seniors eight years old and up to twelve years old, SUPER Seniors over twelve years old and Handicapped dogs. The three specialty classes are: Mixed breed dachshunds (they must look mostly dachshund) "Just Plain Cute" and a Costume class. Good luck!

I need back surgery!

My name is Dexter and I came into CCDR with a bad back. I was in a shelter and am safe now but I need back surgery to walk normal again. Can you help? CCDR has had more than it's share of dogs needing back surgery in the past six months.

Donate to help CCDR and dogs like Dexter

Every little bit helps! Thank you
