Honey
June 2007
Hi, my name is Honey. I was left at a veterinary hospital by my previous owners when they could no longer care for me. I was having difficulty walking and was only being given crate rest but when I did not respond my owners took me in to be euthanized. The veterinarian asked to have me signed over to their hospital so they could give me more time to recover with medication. It was then decided that rescue would be contacted and the veterinarian clinic contacted CCDR to see if they could help me with the surgery that I would need.

I was taken to Portland, Maine for surgery and $2,373.00 later I was released to go home and recuperate. I am doing very well, have begun to walk again, received exercises and forced "rest," much to my chagrin, and am told I am recovering extremely well.

I am a sweet girl who is only 5 years old, have now been to the groomer for a nice bath and nail trim and am feeling rather well these days. I am hoping to find my perfect family who will understand what I've been through and provide me with a wonderful home.

CCDR came to my rescue because I was a dog in pain and now I'd like to be able to give back somehow, so, if you feel you can donate a little something to help cover my surgery not only will I give you a virtual kiss, but CCDR will be very grateful too!

Lots of love,
Honey
